It will also provide an insight into the roles and responsibilities of the employees, supervisors, management, and other personnel regarding the SWA, as well as employee rights, non-retaliation, and protection of workers who use SWA.
Lesson 3: Hazard Recognition and SWA Decisions
This lesson will enable learners to recognize unsafe conditions and identify possible risks and hazards that may necessitate stopping work. The lesson will also teach how to decide when work should be stopped.
Lesson 4: Stop Work Authority Process
The lesson explains the Stop Work Authority process. It includes information on how to initiate a stop work, who can exercise SWA, and how to communicate the safety issues. The lesson also contains information on the use of SWA cards and the requirements for reporting and documenting stop work actions.
Lesson 5: Managing Stop Work Actions
