40-Hour EM 385-1-1 Course – Required for Site Safety and Health Officers (SSHOs) working on projects covered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contractor Safety and Health Requirements.
24-Hour EM 385-1-1 Course – Designed for CDSOs, supervisors, crew leaders, and managers who oversee work on these sites but are not serving as SSHOs. This also satisfies the 24 hours of refresher training that Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs) need to complete every three years.
